Whenever additional space is required most people start to consider the cost/benefit of building an extension into their garden.
The complete project costs for a standard home extension are expensive. Our research and experience indicates the industry norm for construction costs are between £2,000 to £3,500 per square meter and self-build at £1,750 to £2,500.
At a unit cost of £14,995 for our standard base unit there is an equivalent cost of only £950 per square meter.
An extension will incur additional costs (such as architects fees, landscaping), require detailed planning permission, may entail months of mess and disruption and is unlikely to add the same £-value to your property.
This is in comparison to our garden rooms which are built in a factory and delivered ready to use.
When you move you can either factor in the additional space that you have created into the market value of your property, or take the garden room with you!
